Are you all ready to party? I stayed up late last night finishing my mantel so I could be ready for today. This linky party will be open until April 15th. I think it will be a great place to get inspiration from each other, and I will of course be featuring my favorites at the end of the party. {There will be prizes too, but I'll cover that later in the post}. First, let me show you my Spring mantel!
All of the vases and silk flowers are from the Dollar Store, can't beat those prices!
And lastly, I made this cute flower garland out of water bottles! I used this awesome tutorial from The Harrigan Howdy.
I only did a couple things differently. I used acrylic paint instead of spray paint because, as I've mentioned previously, despite being harder to work with it's SO much cheaper! If you put it on thick enough one coat will do. I also went ahead and used a needle and thread to hang them because my water bottles were really thin plastic so it worked.
Let the party begin!
There are no requirements to link up to the party. I hope you'll all participate, I can't wait to see your gorgeous Spring mantels! The party will be open until April 15th so if you're not quite ready you can come back anytime before then.
If you would like to be eligible for the giveaway {the winner will receive their choice of a sweet little girly headband package or a cute little guy newsboy cap, hand crocheted by me} you must display the Spring Mantel Party button on your mantel post. Of course, I would love for you to do this anyways so we can spread the word and have more creative friends join in the fun!
I also mentioned in a previous post that everyone who enters would get a free pattern of their choice from my etsy shop! If you would like one you must include the button in your post (as mentioned above) as well as in your sidebar until the party is over (April 15th). Then just leave me a comment here telling me your email address and which pattern you would like and I'll email it to you (assuming you've followed the rules). Easy as that!
