Chocolate Mojo Bars

Do you like rice krispy treats?
They are so easy to make and so yummy!
The other day I was in the van on the way
to pick up my kids from school, eating a Cliff Mojo bar.
I took a bite and realized how similar to a rice krispy treat it is...
only just healthier.

The next shopping trip I stocked up on items
to recreate this bar.
Only difference is that mine isn't healthy...
something about adding butter and marshmallows
to healthy items...kinda ramps up the fat factor.

But hey, they taste great!
And that is all that matters, right?

Chocolate Mojo Bars

3 Tbsp. butter
4 c. mini marshmallows
3 c. chocolate rice krispy cereal
1 c. sunflower seeds
1 c. chopped peanuts
1 c. chopped pretzels

1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
2 tsp. butter

In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the cereal, seeds, peanuts, and pretzels. Press into a buttered 9x13 pan and let set. Melt the chocolate chips and butter in a microwave safe bowl. Spread on top. Cut into bars. Store in an airtight container.

Have a great Thursday!!!
