Okay, it's no lie when I tell you Down East is probably my favorite clothing store!  I miss living in Utah and being able to shop there all the time, but thank goodness I can still get my fix online.  Down East Basics online has all of your essentials (such as their infamous and perfect under tees in all sorts and colors) and tons of gorgeous, one-of-kind clothing.

I especially love their swim suits!  The only one I actually wear is from there, and every time I look at their suits I wish I could buy ten more!

What's even better?  Unlike many online clothing shops, their prices are affordable!  Let me share some Down East goodness with you. . .

 Ultra cute tops

Amazing skirts and dresses

Amazing skinny jeans, capris, shorts, and more!

And the cutest swim suits you'll find anywhere!

Down East was generous enough to send me their amazing heart throb shorts to review:

Verdict?  Love them!  They are super comfy and cute and they go with everything!  Definitely a summer essential.

One of you lucky readers is going to win any item from the Down East Basics new summer line!  While new facebook promotional rules prohibit requiring "liking" a company as an entry for a giveaway, it would still be great to stop by and like Down East to stay informed on promotions and discounts!  Click here to visit Down East on Facebook.

Enjoy Shaping Lotion Review with Giveaway Coming in a Few Hours

Earlier today I shared my new hairstyle with you.  Click here if you missed it.  Essentially,I'm going for the smooth and sleek look.  However, I like to do a nice wavy look every now and again.  Only problem is, my hair doesn't have much (if any) wave to it.

When I try mouse or gel it mostly just gets crunchy.  Sometimes I can get it puffy, but not usually wavy.  I went through a serious wavy hair stage and I actually french braided my wet hair every night to get it that way!  Now it's been a long time since I've done that (we all know I don't have time for that with the two little ones running around!)

Well the lovely people over at Enjoy hair care products sent me their shaping lotion to see if I could coax that curl out of my hair with a little product and a diffuser.  I was worried while I was diffusing it because I've never found a product that really worked with my hair in this aspect.  I was wondering what I would say if it didn't work for me because I've never had to write a negative review.  But when I finished drying it with the diffuser and looked in the mirror I was very pleasantly surprised!

I saw nice, soft waves and lots of body!  I was ecstatic!  I finished it off with some Aussie Sprunch Spray (which I'm not reviewing, but is a nice aerosol hair spray to keep a good style just how you want it).  It stayed nice all day!  I will definitely be replacing my Enjoy Shaping Lotion when I run out!

As I mentioned in my last post, I'll be posting an "ultimate hair care package" giveaway tomorrow morning.  Both products I've reviewed will be in the package.  And optional entries will include liking them on facebook and following them on twitter so in case you want to get a head start, here they are:

HBL Shine and Seal Review with Giveaway Coming Tomorrow

I recently got a new hair style.  It's supposed to be very straight and sleek, almost like a long bob.  Here was my inspiration:

I needed a product that would make my hair sleek and give it some shine.  In comes HBL Shine and Seal.
I put a little in my wet hair before blow drying.  Then straightened it and voila.  It looked much sleeker than normal.  See my hair is too thick to pull of an actual bob, so the get the Jennifer Aniston look I was going for the stylist had to thin it down on the bottom which is essentially giving you layers.  However, I don't want these layers to show.  The shine and seal kept everything sleek and in place so I had the put together look I was going for.  There was definitely some added shine too.

Here I am sporting my new HBL hairstyle at my birthday celebration at Wingers (mmmm).

Look how nice and sleek it looks :)

And also important: it didn't make my hair feel greasy. I was still able to go a couple days between washing it (let's be honest here, with 2 kiddos under 2, washing my hair everyday just doesn't happen!)

Well tomorrow I will be posting another hair product review and a giveaway for the "ultimate hair care package" and HBL Shine and Seal will be included in it, so check back tomorrow!

And meanwhile stop by and "like" HBL on facebook if you get a chance.

Or follow them on Twitter.

(They'll both be optional entries for the giveaway.)

EdenFantasys Review

Eden Cafe

Have you checked out EdenFantasys yet? I love EdenFantasys because it’s a secure place to buy things I would rather shop for at home than in the mall! They have cute, classy lingerie, wonderful massage oils, romantic candles, and much much more! What I love about their website is the homepage does not have any graphic images whatsoever. You can feel safe visiting the site and knowing you can easily navigate to what you are shopping for and avoid the things you aren’t. They have a handy navigation menu on the side so you can find what you are looking for.
I have purchased a couple cute lingerie sets from EdenFantasys and I am always very happy with my transactions! The lingerie is very high quality and just as nice looking in person as it is on the web!  I am always pleasantly surprised by how well they fit and flatter me.  The products arrive quickly and are marked discreetly so you can surprise the hubby.  My honest opinion: I would recommend them to anyone.

Review with My Vinyl Designer

I love vinyl!  It's no mystery why it's so popular right now.  It's fun, easy, affordable, and it looks great!  There's so much you can do with it!  Today I am introducing you to one of the best vinyl shops out there: Say It on the Wall.

You can put it on your door.

You can put it on a plaque, a plate, or a tile.

You can put it on blocks and make cute things like this:

You can put it on a mirror or lighted glass blocks (super cool effect!)

And of course you can put it on the wall!  You can even make your own saying!

Say it on the Wall let me choose something to review.  I chose this cute saying to put on the wall in my bedroom.  "Loved you yesterday, love you still, always have, always will."  Love it!  They sent me the vinyl on transfer paper, all ready to stick on!  Look how beautiful it looks:

I put it on the wall across from my bed so we can admire it all the time :)  And when I'm up feeding my newborn in the middle of the night and would much rather be sleeping, it makes me smile!

I have a vinyl quote by my front door as well, but that was not nearly such a good experience to put up!  I had some vinyl on hand so I decided to cut it myself with my Cricut.  That took forever!  Then putting it up took literally two hours (I didn't use transfer paper)!  When I was done I started wondering how much it would have cost to just buy it and you can image my dismay when I saw that it would have cost just a little more than the vinyl itself cost me at JoAnns!  I told myself I would never do that again!

My quote from Say it on the Wall was very easy to put on.  Just peel, stick, and rub.  It was great!  I couldn't be happier with my experience.  I hope you'll all stop by and take a look!

Giveaway and Review with Planet Flops Flip Flops

Giveaway closed.

The number one item on my summer checklist is comfortable flip flops!  I like to find one pair that's really cute and versatile so I can wear them with almost everything.  And they've got to be comfortable enough to wear on vacations where I walk all day long.  Not that I'll be taking any vacations this year with little Sam and Noah, but hopefully next summer :)

Well these flip flops from Planet Flops top the charts in comfort!  And they seem super sturdy.  I'm sure I'll be wearing these for many years to come.

I've never felt flip flops like this before!  If you've been to any newly built playgrounds you may have noticed the stuff they use instead of bark these days.  It's made from recycled tires and it's almost springy and squishy.  Great stuff.  That's what the flip flops remind me of.  I've been wearing them non-stop since I got them!  They're super cute, see for yourself:

Planet FLOPS is based in Beverly Hills and is dedicated to making environmentally-friendly, stylish and incredibly comfortable flip-flops.
Dr. Sylvie, a well-respected Beverly Hills podiatrist, created Planet FLOPS when she realized that there was a demand for eco-chic and comfortable flip-flops. Instead of being made from synthetic rubber (which comes from petroleum and chemicals), Planet Flops are made in Brazil with natural rubber. Natural rubber comes from a rubber tree in the Brazilian rain forest. The trees are not harmed and are not chopped down (it is like extracting maple syrup from a tree). As destiny would have it, natural rubber is also more comfortable in that it provides greater cushion and flexibility. You immediately feel the difference in the quality and comfort as soon as you put them on your feet!
They've been featured all over the pressI Exclaim wrote about us and declared “I am seriously not kidding when I tell you I have discovered THE perfect flip flop.”  And they're carried in many of the trendiest boutiques, hotels and spas around the country.  For instance, we can be found at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna, the Las Vegas Hilton, the Hyatt Resort in Huntington Beach, Hands on Spa in Beverly Hills, to name just a few.

Review: Skye Reve Fabrics

Who doesn't love a beautiful faric?  I know I do!  I love holding a cute fabric up and thinking of all the possibilities.  What will it be?  A skirt for me, a dress for my little neice, a throw pillow or baby blanket for my little boys' nursery, a fabric headband or bracelet.  The possibilities really are endless.  So fun!

If you're anything like me in this regard, you're in for a treat!  Let me introduce you to my favorite little fabric shop: Skye Reve Fabrics.  This shop has the absolute cutest fabrics!  The shopping experience is always great.  The exact opposite of fabric shopping at JoAnns.  I usually wait in line for a good 40 minutes to get my fabric cut and then another twenty minutes to buy it.  That's a pain as it is, without having two kiddos to pack along!  I'm always stressed when I leave!

Shopping at Skye Reve is fabulous.  I love looking through all the cute fabrics.  I love everything in their shop so I don't have to look through tons of duds to find something good.  Then I can place my order in about one minute.  I love looking forward to recieving my package.  It's so fun to get a beautiful little package in the mail!

I was lucky enough to get to review this cute fabric bundle:
I love it, the prints are so bright and fun.  I haven't had a chance to make anything out of my wonderful new stash yet (remember the 17 month old and the newborn?  Keeping me busy!) but I am SO looking forward to it!  I really want to make a ruffle butt onsie for my best friends cute little girl and maybe cover my bulletin board in one of these prints.

Let me show you some of the other adorable fabrics available at Skye Reve Fabrics.

I would love to re-do my nursery in this cute dino print!

I hope you'll stop by Skye Reve Fabrics and check them out.  You won't be dissapointed!

Don't forget to enter the Sherrod Studio giveaway for your chance to win an adorable purse pattern of your choice.  (Low entries and two winners!)
*******************
My Vinyl Designer is an amazing shop with 1500+ premade wall art designs.  They've also got great tips and finished project ideas being used in today's home decor. Such a cool idea!

I have so much fun looking through all their awesome designs.  I love using my Cricut to cut vinyl for use around my home.  My Vinyl Designer is the best place I know of to purchase designs because you only buy the image you want.  And it's affordable!

To use with a Cricut you must have Sure Cuts a Lot or similar software that makes your Cricut usable with the computer (which in my opinion is a necessity if you want to get much out of your Cricut- and it costs less than many of their cartridges!)  My Vinyl Designer images can also be used with the Silhoutte.

My Vinyl Designer's affordable vector designs can be instantly downloaded 24/7 so that you can begin using them right when you want them. They are available in single-color, wholly welded AI, EPS, GSD, Silhouette and Cricut-compatible SVG formats.  Their designs are perfect for vinyl cutting, scrapbooking, etching, embroidery, printing, fabric design, engraving, laser cutting, and lots more!!

The women who run this business are stay at home moms who value the importance of home and the significance of inspirational artwork that personalizes it.
Check out their inspire-me photo gallery showing how others are using their designs.  It is seriously amazing how much you can do with their designs!

If you've ever wanted to start a business with vinyl or some other element that this works with, My Vinyl Designer does all the hard work for you!  They have large packages you can purchase with tons of designs you can cut and sell.  Here is one of their most popular starter kits:
